Bronson Bonnett works primarily on preparation and prosecution of patent applications, focusing on mechanical and biomedical innovations. He also assists clients with freedom-to-operate investigations and patentability analyses.
During law school, Bronson concentrated on intellectual property law. He participated in New York Law School’s year-long Patent Law Clinic, learning patent drafting and prosecution skills, and worked one summer at Lerner David, gaining experience prosecuting mechanical and chemical patent applications.
As an undergraduate engineering student, Bronson garnered practical experience in the oil and gas industry by interning at an equipment provider for oil and gas drilling and by participating in the AAPG Imperial Barrel Award Program, an international competition for the petroleum geology community. In graduate school, while pursuing his M.S. in Chemical Engineering, he worked at a startup company developing nanotechnology that utilized plasmon resonance.
Bronson enjoys working at the intersection of law and technology and helping clients protect their innovations.
