Greg Reilly’s practice encompasses all aspects of IP law, including litigation and licensing, but with a particular focus on domestic and foreign patent and trademark counseling and procurement, as well as due diligence and right-to-use investigations.

Greg’s patent prosecution practice includes specialized USPTO proceedings, such as patent reexaminations and reissues.  Notably, Greg has developed a substantial practice using broadening reissues to “reopen” client patent portfolios and expand the scope of protection where it advances the client’s business interests.

Rules Expert

Greg takes the time to investigate the latest changes in IP law and USPTO rules, as well as to consider how to take advantage of those changes to add value to clients’ IP portfolios.  He has used that expertise not only in advising clients with complicated procedural issues, but also in helping to develop and implement patent-related procedures within the firm.
